Realign Your CME Writing Path for Growth

Hi Reader!

It's full on summer here in Washington state. The long warm days mean my tomatoes are growing this year (never a guarantee in the mountain shadow where I live) and wonder or wonder, so is my basil. The apples are coming in strong too and I see baby fruit on my chili plants. I'm not a natural green thumbs kind of gal, and so I marvel at, and am grateful for, all this growth.

Because growth, as it turns out, doesn’t happen by accident. It needs the right conditions: time, tending, support, and just the right kind of light.

That’s true in the garden—and it’s true in WriteCME Pro.

This month’s alumni spotlight is a perfect example. With a little clarity, structure, and community, Kelvin went from curious learner to confident CME writer with a thriving business.

Here's how he did it.

💡 Alumni Spotlight: From Uncertain to Unstoppable

Before he joined WriteCME Pro, Kelvin was juggling his business with studying CME through the Ready Steady CME course (now Chart Your CME Writing Path). He was intrigued by the possibilities in continuing medical education but needed clarity on how to position himself, find the right clients, and create work that actually makes a difference.

When a new Accelerator cohort opened, he didn’t hesitate. He signed up, ready to go deeper.

What changed for Kelvin?

I realized how essential needs assessments are—not just for accreditation, but for driving meaningful education. Learning how to craft one with confidence changed how I approach CME writing entirely.

He also discovered the value of choosing a focused niche—and stopped trying to be everything to everyone.

Today, he’s focusing on needs assessments, white papers, patient education materials, and CME slide decks across therapeutic areas like infectious diseases, oncology, pediatrics, ophthalmology, and more.

Kelvin’s not guessing anymore—he’s grounded, strategic, and moving forward with purpose.

And he’s not alone. Inside WriteCME Pro, our alumni don’t just learn—they build sustainable freelance businesses with support, coaching, and community.

How could you realign your growth in the Fall?

Until next time, go gently.
